As we hit 2016, it is often a good time to reflect on what 2015 brought to us in terms of new thought patterns, beliefs, experiences and expectations. In this time of reflection and new year resolutions, it’s a sad fact that many of us use this time to beat ourselves up. If this is you, I urge you to look back at the past year with kind and compassionate eyes rather than beating yourself up or wishing things had been different for you. In this week’s blog, I would like to share with you some of my own personal appreciations for 2015 and the new ‘vibration’ or thought patterns which I am happy to take into 2016.
What I have learned in 2016:
1) How I feel is the most important thing.
It’s not about just attracting wonderful things into my life, it’s about focussing on feeling good and then allowing what you want in life to come to you effortlessly. In fact, caring about my own emotional wellbeing is the most important thing I can do for myself, my clients and other people around me.
2) It is not about action.
Society leads us to believe that we have to work hard and take action in order to achieve what we want. For many of us, this just leads to an uphill struggle! For me personally, this is not how the universe works and to be honest, the opposite is true. In my work as a Sydney Life and Confidence Coach, I assist people to feel good first and focus on raising their vibration. Seriously, nothing is more important than feeling good! When we work on feeling good first, we naturally flow downstream and allow the objects of our desire, whether it is a new partner, more money or new career, to flow into our lives effortlessly. I learned in 2016 that 10 mins work on your vibration and wellbeing, is equivalent to around 100 hours hard work and struggling upstream.
3) I choose who to work with.
There was a time when I started working as a Sydney Life and Confidence Coach that I would accept any new clients or opportunities which came my way. Thank fully, I now only choose to work with people who are on the same authentic stream as me. This has brought me so much joy in 2015 and I want to say a big thank you to my wonderful clients and the organisations that I work with including The University of Western Sydney, Ambition Recruitment and Canterbury and Hurlstone Park RSL.
4) It’s about being a Vibrational Snob!
2015 was also about choosing to spend time with people who feel good to me. In doing this, I am caring about how I feel and maintaining my own level of personal vibration. (Remember, nothing is more important than feeling good!)
5) It is about Feeling my way into my desire!
It’s not about setting goals and then taking action to achieve them, it’s about getting frisky and excited about what you want in life. When the desire feels good to you, feel how wonderful it will be and conjure up the emotions in your body of how wonderful it will feel once you allow it into your life. Then, your only job is relax, trust and allow it to flow to you effortlessly! I feel so blessed that in 2016, I manifested so many wonderful things using this approach including a book contract, several speaking engagements on cruises (including a free cruise) and a range of
wonderful clients and organisations to work with.
